Last weeks 7 Quick Takes Friday I posted the peoples prayer changes for the Introductory Rites and The Liturgy of the Word. This week I am going to post the rest of the changes for The Liturgy of the Eucharist and The Concluding Rites.

As you can see most of the changes aren’t too extreme. Some of the prayers are now longer, some are shorter, and some are about the same. The biggest changes are to the creeds because that is where our beliefs are. Just remember just because some of the words have changed doesn’t mean the MEANING of the prayers are changing. We still have the same faith the words are just changing to better translate from our latin roots.
