My good twitter friend Beth tweeted this cooking youtube video recently:
If Phoebe from Friends had a cooking show, this would be it: https://t.co/skpi7hSTa9

Her description of the video was intriguing so I went to watch and it was HILARIOUS and I found she also had an entire cooking/recipe blog and am now subscribed to her newsletter. Hilah has a delicious looking Eggplant Parm Sub recipe I am going to try to recreate very soon.
I LOVE this article about being single. I can say in the last few years being single hasn’t really bothered me. Like it has because I do want to get married someday but it hasn’t prevented me from living my life anyway. Anyway this article on verily has a lot of great ideas of things you can do in the meantime. I’m really working on #8 of finding classes to take of things I did or wanted to as a kid…like tomorrow I’m going to take a painting class 🙂
October is coming up and a lot of bloggers always do this 31 Days of Blogging challenge. Last year I wrote about my dad which was fun. Still trying to decide what to do this year. I’m thinking about using the 31 days to finish writing about my trip to Europe..if I do that I won’t actually post every day I will work on writing stuff because I want those blogs to be nice. HA. I’m also thinking about doing daily writing prompts or something daily. I don’t know yet. I have 18 days to decide LOL
I saw someone post about this new book on Instagram called 50 Women Every Christian Should Know. Then my blogging friend, Alia Joy wrote a review this week about the book (she may have posted it on instagram too ha I can’t remember). This books is really intriguing. You can see most of the women on amazon’s sneak peak and there are a lot of great women on the list including several awesome catholic saints. I’ve added this to my ever growing wish list of books I may read someday.
The lovely Jen and Morgan from the Not Alone Series were on Catholic TV this morning! They were talking about connecting with other single women and the Not Alone Series they started. They did an awesome job and hope we’re able to grow the series and help other women struggling. Below is a video of their segment.
Last weekend I went down to Orlando for the Night of Joy christian concert series they have every year. I had been planning on going since the spring when they announced that Matt Maher was going to be one of the artists there. On Friday the lovely Arleen Spenceley tweeted that she was going to be there and I was all no way me too and after 2 hours of trying to find each other in the park we met up and went on Space Mountain together and hung out the rest of the night! It was so random and so much fun at the same time!
Here’s a Flip-a-Gram video of the weekend I made 🙂
Four months later I Finally finished reading Jen’s book Something Other Than God. It was actually the first memoir about a conversion that I had ever read and I really enjoyed it. Maybe now I’ll read some more memoirs.
Have a great weekend everyone! For more Quick Takes, visit Conversion Diary!
