I haven’t done a Pinterest inspired Quick Takes yet so I thought this week was as good as any. These are 7 Catholic Pins I have found on Pinterest and have added to my “Catholic Things” Pinterest Board. Some of them are funny and some of them are serious. Hope you enjoy 🙂 Â
Everytime I remember to say the right words at mass I feel like this little kid!
My pastor LOVES when people use the Confession apps in confession. He said the first time someone did it he was very confused. He was all are you going to make a call? And the guy told him no I have an app it helps me. My pastor says the people who use the app he has the best confessions! You have to pay for most of them but most people I know that have them say it’s worth the money!
This is just cool looking 🙂
When I saw this book on Pinterest I told my mom about it and she ordered it right away! They also have a children’s version that she also ordered. They look like really cool books to use Art in prayers. I will probably post again once we get them and start using them.
I first saw this image over the summer when “planking” was “in.” I just die laughing every time I see it because it’s so true and funny at the same time 🙂

This is a Rosary Garden for your backyard. I’m not a big rosary person but if I had this in my backyard I would say the Rosary all the time!
It’s time for me to hit up the confessional (well… confess to my local Anglican priest) and I need to see if the book I like is available for the NOOK. I don’t have a smart phone so the apps aren’t going to help.
yeah I don’t have a smartphone either. I have an ipod touch though 🙂
Awesome post!! I just added the prayer book to my amazon wish list. I love coloring but rarely do it. I’m not artsy, but it’s therapeutic to me to color. I totally want to make a rosary garden one day! I think doing a chocolate cake with a white cross would be really cool. Especially for Easter- the dark cake would be like the dark, solemn time of lent with the light of Jesus (white cross) shining through for Easter. I might have to try it!

I know! I keep asking my mom for an excuse to make a 4 layer cake…lol
I LOVE that little kid picture! I’ve seen it before, and every time I get it right, I see his cute fat face in my head.
Me2! He’s very popular and in a lot of other meme pictures 🙂
I’ve always loved that planking picture!

Me too! When the “planking” craze was going on over the summer I found this and just died laughing!!
I love so many of the ideas you shared. I wish we had a climate conducive to the rosary walk idea, although our parish has a small prayer garden with stones for the rosary along the walk. Love the planking photo, too.
Thanks for sharing (both via Conversion Diary and the CBN Facebook page.)

Thanks! Yeah climate could be an issue. Do you have a basement? I bet you could make something similar in a basement type room..
I love the planking picture as well 🙂 An application will be useful to confess myself as I don’t remember the formula…
