Last week while I was reading some other Quick Takes I came across this one all about pinterest. The blogger asked if she was a pinterest addict because she has 15 boards and 500 pins. After reading I was curious as to how many pins and boards I had (thinking it couldn’t be that many). Boy was I WRONG!! I have over 50 boards and close to 1500 pins. Maybe I’m the one with the problem…
Some DEALS are too good to be true. Over the weekend I found an AWESOME deal on officemax.com. 20 triple rolls of angel soft toilet paper for $5 (normal price is $35). The order went through fine but I never got any information about shipping and it kept “pending” in my bank account. I asked my friend that also ordered the deal and she finally just called officemax.com and they gave her a run around and basically told her they were out of stock and all the orders would be cancelled. I hadn’t heard anything about it and was hoping she was wrong but alas last night I received an email saying the deal was a “typographical” error and they weren’t responsible for placing orders based on “typographical errors” blah blah blah and my order was cancelled and money refunded. I was kind of bummed because I was super exciting at scoring such a GREAT deal. The search continues! I really hope amazon puts Charmin on sale again at a great price.
I just ordered these awesome Enjoy the City books! Right now if you use the code FOUR you get 5 books for $20 (or $4 each) and if you buy 12 or more they automatically double your order so you get each book for $2!! If you want to get extra crazy or team up with some friends and order 50 books they double your order and send you a $50 target giftcard! I only ordered 12 as I couldn’t justify spending $200 or needing 100 books. Every city has different coupons but specifically for Florida the book has several $5 off a $30 purchase at Winn Dixie and you can use the coupon at Publix (if your Publix takes Winn Dixie Coupons). I have been known to split my order up to be able to use two of these coupons and always give this coupon before coupons. The books also have a ton of other great coupons for restaurants and entertainment. You can view the book before ordering on the website.
I’ve said it a million times I am SOOO BEHIND on reviews. However I am 10x closer to getting one of my Newman’s Own Organics reviews posted. This past week I created a video of Milo and Pierre reviewing the food. Here is a sneak peak:
After our vacation next week I am determined to buckle down and get my finances in order and not spend anymore extra money until Labor Day (small goals). I have currently gotten back into the habit of using Mint.com to track my spending. I have tried a million different things including iBank, and an old fashioned spreadsheet and mint.com has been the only thing that has really helped me keep track of things. The only thing I wish I could figure out is how to keep track of who you owe money to when you don’t have a specific account to pay that person back. Like if I owe Billy Bob $10. Yes that whole sentence is probably the most confusing thing I have ever written 🙁
I’ve been getting really crafty/foody? and productive with my pinterest boards. Last weekend I made another pinterest meal. I made these awesome Cheesy Potato Fries!! OMG they were soooo good I want some more NOW! The best part about the recipe is I bought everything for the recipe ON SALE!! I got so lucky that the two weeks I shopped for the fries the items I needed were on sale 🙂 a win-win in my book!

Enjoy vacation!
I have a coupon story I think you’d appreciate. This past week, Giant Eagle had Helluva Good cheese blocks (8 oz) on sale for buy one get one. They are normally $3.38 a block. Giant Eagle also had 75 cent coupons for 8 oz Helluva Good cheese. The blocks ended up costing only 90 cents! They would have been free if they had doubled the coupon.
Also – the Amazon ad is blocking your “Confirm you are NOT a spammer” spot for the person who comments second. It makes it EXTREMELY hard and frustrating to comment.
YAY! I love when everyone finds good deals! We went shopping tonight and my sister about fell over when we found a deal for 50 cent butter!
Thanks for letting me know about the amazon banner I will fix it right now!!
Great blog the best and Valuable information, I enjoyed every little bit of it and have even bookmarked this page to check out your new stuff.

Keeping your body physically fit is really important and can help prevent the occurrence of
various illnesses later on in life. Many hand tools are automatic and
are generally powered by electricity. Reaching the perfect horizontal or vertical line is
not that easy with the traditional accessories such as bubble leveler.
