Welcome to my new blog! This is my first quick take on this blog. You may know me from my old blog that is now going to be deals/coupons/frugal living only. I decided I was trying to blog about way too many topics and decided to branch out with this blog. I’m enjoying this new writing space and hope to grow it, meet new people, and obtain new opportunities!
While parusing pinterest the other night I found this list of patron saints for all different things. On the list was a patron saint for cats and in trying to find more about her via google I found this website to buy St. Gertrude “Spirit Tags” for your cat. I’m not sure if that is crazy or awesome. Maybe if Milo and Pierre would wear them they won’t lose as many lives and they will stop fighting! One can only pray for such miracles.
Another Pinterest inspired quick take. I found this blog post to PRINT your instagram photos. I LOVE Instagram but trying to get your photos from instagram to your computer and then print can sometimes be a hassle. I will confess sometimes I just take screen shots of them when I want to post them on my blog or elsewhere.
So I haven’t really said anything but I’m going back to school in the spring! I’m going to work on getting my associates degree in accounting so I can get a bookkeeping/accounting clerk position somewhere. I’m just going to the local college and they have a good job placement program. I looked into going for my MBA but I decided it was WAY too expensive as I already have a lot of undergraduate loans left and with this program I’ll be able to pay as I go. I’m looking forward to learning again and actually meeting some people. It’s really hard to meet people when your not in school.
I said this last week but tonight I’m going to a meeting of the Catholic Young Adult Professionals group at a parish about 30 minutes away. It’s a brand new group and it’ll be the first meeting. I hope people show up and we’re able to form a nice group.
Have you seen my Disney Bucket List I made last weekend while I was bored? A lot of the tasks aren’t that hard to do but I hope by putting them on this list I’ll actually try and do them. Our next disney weekend is in October for the Food & Wine Festival. I’ve been hearing about this festival for YEARS and excited to get to actually experience it for the first time!! Sadly I wasn’t able to take off for when Buddy at Cake Boss will be there but it will still be fun!
