I want to thank my awesome co-hosts Sara O. and Abbey for taking over our link-up this week. My sister got married on Saturday and we had family in town until Tuesday evening and I was never around a computer long enough to get my post up this week.
Make sure to check out their posts for Week 5 this week.
I want to thank EVERYONE that has been praying for me and my family the last several months. I’m not used to being around 15+ people 24/7 and was worried how it would go last week but we all had an awesome time. There were some minor glitches but from the outside looking in it looked like it went really smoothly. It was a beautiful wedding.
Bad thing about being IN the wedding you are in all the photos so I have very few photos FROM the Wedding. I need to collect them all from facebook and camera’s to make a nice slideshow and for a blog post. I think I might actually do a “day in the life” type post of the wedding day.
In other news I caught the bouquet!!!!!!!!
My mom says I need to give her time to rest and catch-up from this wedding before planning another wedding…I told her I would try but couldn’t make her any promises 😉
Couple’s First Dance – Fly Me To The Moon
They wanted the Michael Buble version but he hasn’t actually recorded a single of it (just performed it at concerts I guess) so they had to use the original which is just as good.
I was supposed to go on a retreat this weekend. Actually I was supposed to help plan it but with all the stuff with the wedding I ended up dropping it because it was too much on top of everything I had going on. It wasn’t fair to the other members of the committee you know…anyway I thought about just attending but I’m glad I decided against it…I’m EXHAUSTED! I need the weekend to catch up on sleep, TV (priorities people), and clean up my room (it’s a disaster I never fully unpacked before things got crazy with the wedding).
I’m less than 3 weeks away from leaving on my European Adventure!! It seemed so far away and now it’s right around the corner. I’m super excited and nervous about this trip and plan on taking tons of photos and writing tons of blog posts about my adventures! Don’t worry you can all live through me…isn’t that what the internet is for?
