Thank god for the weekend. The last few weeks have been crazy awful around here. Glad to have things sorta back to normal. In the course of the last month we got bed bugs, packed up our house for the exterminator, I had to get a new bed, and then I got the lovely news that as of January 1 my position is being eliminated. Merry Christmas to me….
How are you doing with the #AdventPhotoADay challenge? We only have a few more days left! Make them count! At the end of the month I will announce all the winners! My plan was to announce them as we went but with all the chaos with the extermination I haven’t had a lot of computer access. But I have been watching all the pictures being posted (in the shadows).
Here is a button you can use if you decide to blog about any of the days:

The other day while I was getting ready for work the radio hosts were talking about some Christmas survey and in the survey 37% of the 2000 people surveyed (1000 children and 1000 adults) believed that the first person to visit baby jesus was SANTA! Later on I went and found said survey here and was amazed at the facts that people believed. It was a survey done in the UK and I am not familiar of the faith life/religions that are believed in that area but I always thought the biblical christian story was pretty standard as it’s even in a lot of tv shows. You learn something new everyday. Anyway that survey is really interesting like many believed that baby jesus was conceived on Mary and Joseph’s first date.
I can’t believe Christmas is TUESDAY! Where did November and December go? Wasn’t Halloween just yesterday. When you are a little kid time moves sooooo fast but as an adult I feel like it goes sooo slow!
On the positive side of losing my job I’m really looking forward to being able to go back to school full-time and working on all my internet websites/projects that I have basically abandoned since I was so busy working.
I do not know what Milo (the orange tabby’s) problem is. He keeps trying to run outside. The other day he got out while we were taking the trash out. He ran when I tried to catch him then 10 minutes later I heard this moaning. It was Milo fighting with some other cat. The cat ran off but every time you got close to Milo he would hiss and growl. Then he was hiding in a bush. I put food out he wouldn’t come out. Then about 2 hours later I couldn’t find him anywhere and went inside and I started to hear him moaning again and he was by the front door and calmed down enough so I was able to catch him. Then he shunned my mom and slept in my bed. He seems to be okay now as last night he slept in my moms bed like normal but man he’s crazy sometimes. And that is my #CrazyCatLady story of the week!

#7 He’s fixed, right? I’m guessing he is, but that sounds like non-fixed kitty behavior! Get it together, Milo!
#1 Ugh so sorry about your rough month! Bed bugs are the worst. I brought one home from work one day (long story) but luckily saw it on a couch pillow and didn’t actually have any problem. But I did move out for about 2 weeks because I was so afraid that WHAT IF IT LAID EGGS lol. I treated my apartment with diatomaceous earth which is animal friendly. And I put some in the baggy with the captured bed bug to make sure it would work, and it did!
#1 – I know! He’s been fixed for over 6 years! I’m not sure what his deal is but he’s been really territorial lately. Esp. after Pierre ran away for 2 weeks last year 🙁
#7 – yeah the problem we have is we can’t see anything we are just getting bitten. They came yesterday and retreated my room so hopefully they are gone this time.
I have been traveling and MIA lately so I didn’t hear about your job. I’m so sorry 🙁 Prayers for a better new year!
thanks 🙂 it’s been a LONG month ha
