My #40DaysOfPhotos. photo challenge is going really well so far. It’s Day 15 but don’t worry you can jump in and out as you can and you won’t get beheaded for missing a day. For the instructions go here to read more about the rules and instructions of how to participate. And leave a comment if you have any questions! I can’t wait to see everyones photos as we experience Lent together. As the days go I am pinning all the photos to a pinterest board. It’s really neat to see them all compiled.

My birthday is on Wednesday!! I usually don’t really care but this year I’m actually excited about it. I already decided we are going to this new Japanese Steakhouse for dinner because the birthday person eats FREE!! And all my free birthday stuff items have started coming in via email. Go here to sign up for free stuff on your birthday!!
I did something sort of crazy last night. I bought an early bird ticket for ALLUME!! I really wanted to go to this conference last year but it was in Harrisburg, PA and airline tickets were close to $400 to get there plus there weren’t any flights Sunday evening and I would have had to spend an extra night on food and hotels so I didn’t go. But I found out a few weeks ago that it got moved to SC and a drivable distance so with my tax return in hand I hit refresh 10million times between 11:50pm and midnight and got one of the 50 early bird tickets.
I’m really excited for next weekend. We’re having a Eucharistic Congress. Friday night they are having Live Stations and a young adult session with Matt Maher followed by overnight adoration. Then on Saturday morning/afternoon I’m helping with the elementary track followed by a Matt Maher concert that evening. I am so excited it’s been FOREVER since I’ve seen Matt Maher live!! The last few times he came through on Friday nights over an hour away and I couldn’t get to them after work.
Last weekend was our Parish Festival and I can now add Professional Snow Cone Maker and Popcorn Maker to my Resume. It was fun to make snow cones for the people that bought them from us. It seemed a lot more crowded this year than last year which is good. And I ate way too much fair food but it was soooo good!!
Have a great weekend! For more Quick Takes, visit Jen at Conversion Diary!
Eucharistic Congress = awesomeness! Sounds like you have great things to look forward to.
Happy early bday and good luck with your interview!
