7 Quick Takes {Volume 69}

I really LOVE our new pope. I saw this artist (Joe Castillo) at a conference several years ago make different paintings throughout the conference and have always been in awe of how he has used his talents to glorify God. He made a painting/video of Pope Francis. You can view it here:

Earlier this week I saw tons of people linking up to the Five Favorites link-up. I sat down to write one and couldn’t think of 5 things I use all the time except really lame things like my computer, cellphone, or awesome apps. This week I need to really think about this so I can participate with all the cool kids.

Our finances have been a mess lately and I think we FINALLY figured out a way to organize everyones bills and debt. I’m going to wait a few weeks/months and see how we do before blogging about it. But I’m pretty proud at the progress we’re making.

A few weeks ago I was going through my email and found a blog link about this website you can email yourself in the future. I always did this in high school and college and it was fun to receive the letter in the mail 1-2 years later. The bad thing about this is will you still be checking that email account in the future? Might be fun to email yourself (or a friend) anyway.

For Christmas I bought myself this tshirt from LOL SHIRTS. More of as a joke than anything. But I do LOVE the Big Bang Theory and as a #CrazyCatLady I also LOVE this song. Earlier this week I went to Publix and the cashier (who was older than my mom) asked me if I watch The Big Bang Theory! I told her Yes and she told me, “Yes me to! It’s the best thing on TV I think it’s better than Seinfeld!” I never got into Seinfeld but that totally made my day. And yes that is my life…

I’m still working on my 30 Before 30 list. I need about 6 more things. I’m trying to think of things that are actually attainable but have hit a road block. What are some things you wish you would have done before you turned 30 or do you have a 30 before 30 post? I love reading other peoples lists!

I love TUMBLR. There are tons of awesome catholic tumblrs out there like Mary is my Homegirl.  But my all time FAVORITE Tumblr is My Friends are all Married. I die laughing everytime I read those tumblr’s. I love gifs.
