PACKING: All my stuff! I’m slowly moving some of my things to my fiance’s house. I move often so I’m used to moving but the last few times I had to move it was super last minute and it was pretty stressful so I’m trying to do this little by little so I can be settled by April.
JONESING: Some of the fancy wedding things I cannot afford like honeymoons to exotic places. No joke I know 2 people that got married last month and they went to Thailand and The Phillipines for their honeymoons. Not that I have any desire to go to those places I’m just thinking man those are expensive trips. I’d settle for a trip to Europe. Our Disney Cruise to the Bahamas will be just as fun though đŸ™‚
TEXTING: Right now it’s the girls in my bridal party and my fiance the most. Nothing crazy other than a few wedding drama’s and just normal chit-chat.
READING: I am currently reading The Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine Aron. She has a lot of information on her website (including a test) that I found really helpful to read through and was nodding along the whole time.
The thing I found the most interesting is that about 20% of people are considered highly sensitive…it’s too large to be considered any kind of mental disorder but it’s too low for people to understand how to deal with them.
HEARTING: All the Valentine’s Day things! Trying to decide what I want to do and make for everyone.
Recapping: JANUARY
- My mom got everyone their own bowling balls and shoes and we have been bowling a few times. It’s been a lot of fun going bowling and getting out and doing something non-wedding related.
- We went to see the Elivs Lives show. It was my Christmas gift to Tom.
- I went to Disney for my birthday (since my birthday is in March and too close to the wedding to go then). They were having this cool arts festival and we got to help paint a mural.
Currently is hosted on the first Wednesday of each month by Anne of In Residence. This month’s guest co-host Erin of Teal and Polka Dots.
A cruise to the Bahamas sounds about perfect to me! It’ll be nice to relax after the wedding, I’m sure. Fun!
Yeah that is what I’m thinking. We talked about doing a big touristy thing like going to Boston or some other city but I decided after the wedding we want something more relaxing and less touristy. Plus all our food is included the other thing we really will have to pay for is alcohol, souvineirs and any excursions.
