Today we’re ending our Paris visit with the Eiffel Tower!
The Eiffel Tower was the last stop we made on the Segway Tour. It was really interesting to learn that the Eiffel Tower was never built to stay up for years on end. It was built to be an icon for the Worlds Fair with the intention of staying up for the event and taken down when it was over but it was such a hit it’s stayed up this whole time!
As we took our Segway Tour we were able to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance and get some photographs of it and our tour guide kept telling us not to worry about it because we would get way better pictures at the end…but we took them anyway!
Finally at the end of the tour we made it to the Eiffel Tower!!
Thank you Google + for making this cool selfie collage.
Our tour guide was awesome and took pictures of us on our Segways in front of the Eiffel Tower.
By the time we got to the Eiffel Tower it was this weird dusky time of day so my pictures are kind of dark. I tried to brighten them up as best I could.
After I edited all the photos I realized there isn’t a lot to say about the Eiffel Tower…so this is more of a Photo Essay. We didn’t go up the tower because the lines were really long. My mom actually looked into getting skip-the-line tickets but for the same price got the Segway Tour instead which I think was a much better value.
