Hello Everyone!! I hope everyone Five Minute Fridaying from Allume is having a fabulous time!! I’m hoping the Keynotes are online again so I can watch them later and feel like I was there. Here is my attempts to relate Five Minute Friday to my 31 Days of Europe topic.
GO
DARE. Truth or Dare? Did anyone play that game as a kid? I always thought it was kind of silly. Or maybe my friends weren’t very creative with their dares. Or maybe I’m just not into peer pressure.
Anyway that is the first thing that comes into my mind when I hear the word DARE. But when I hear the word DARE I also think of other things. I think about what people think to be daring. I remember I would talk about my trip to Europe and I don’t think many people believed me when I told them where I was going and what I was going to do. I’m sure many people that I was very daring.
I’ve always been kind of adventurous. I get that from my Father. He LOVED to travel. He went everywhere! He even took his students places and on the facebook page I created for him his students talk about when they visited different cities with him. It’s an amazing ministry for me along with my mom and other family members.
I dare you to travel. Visit a new place. Go somewhere you’ve never been even if it’s in your own town. You never know what kind of adventure you’ll find or what you’ll learn.
STOP
I love your dare. I have found so many fun things just by getting off the couch! This year, we discovered Kayaking as a family. We found that we love the peacefulness of the lake when the water is calm. We have hiked trails that were not previously found and we have seen things that I never knew before. You are so right. The adventure is so worth it.

Thanks! Me 2! Last summer I got free passes to a lot of our local tourist attractions through my job and I learned so much about where I live! It was so neat!

I love your dare too! I LOVE to travel and find new places, even if it’s in my own city or things close by. I’ve found so many fun restaurants, shops, hang-outs, and fun places to spend my time 🙂 I also love visiting new places farther away. I just went to Disney World last summer and took my husband. He had never been, but I had been going since I was a kid. It was so fun to see him have so much fun and experience something I have loved doing since I was little. Great idea and thanks for sharing 🙂

Well I had to stop by when I saw the name of your blog. My name is Beth Anne too. How cool is that!! I do so love to travel and with grown boys it’s something we have the opportunity to more of. If only I could dare my husband to travel more oversees. But always happy to go wherever as long as we are together. Nice to find my way here through FMF. Enjoy your time at Allume. 🙂
Blessings.

I was never a fan of Truth or Dare either…no peer pressure for me! I do love to travel and did so many things in my 20’s that I now think of as daring. Back then, it just seemed like a bit of fun on the road! A European adventure – how wonderful! Can’t wait to read more!
