Welcome to Menu Plan Monday. This is a new segment I am going to be posting to help make sure we are eating out of our stockpile and planning meals based on the sale ads.
I will be posting our meals for the week so we know what to take out of the freezer and to make sure we are eating out of our stockpile and not trying to make things we don’t have all the ingredients for.
We are trying to avoid “emergency shopping trips” as much as we can. I am using a meal planning sheet I found from PassionForSavings free downloads.
Feel free to download it for your personal use. I have looked at others and like her layout the best. My meal planning is mainly for dinner. I will mention the other meals on the bottom with various things for us to eat since not everyone eats the other meals at home/together.
Monday – Burgers, French Fries, Corn on the Cob
Tuesday – Chicken, Rice-a-Roni, Green Beans
Wednesday – PF Changs Frozen Dinner
Friday – Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans
Saturday – Pasta or Leftovers
Sunday – Pasta or Leftovers
Depending on how the week goes we may substitute leftovers for any of these meals especially nights when everyone may not be home.
Breakfast – YOYO (Your On Your Own) – Waffles, Cereal, Bagel Bites
Lunch – YOYO – Spaghetti O’s, Chef Boyardee, Soups, or Leftovers, frozen empanadas
Snacks – YOYO – Any Candy, popcorn, fruit, yogurt, soup, frozen empanadas
