This weeks topic is our Favorite Recipes….specifically for one…here are a few of my favorites.
I’m not very good at the whole cooking for one thing…as I still live at home so 9/10 when I cook I usually just cook for everyone. Although most of what I cook can be made for one..lots of times if I cook too much I just eat things left over as that doesn’t really bother me and it’s nice to have for long days when I don’t feel like cooking.
I have a real problem…I am a soup-a-holic..I have some form of soup at least 4 days a week…sometimes more. My grandma made a mean chicken noodle soup recipe and we have actually really awesomly been able to duplicate it. Every time I cook it and it comes out right I impress myself at how awesome it tastes and how it tastes just like hers!! But it’s one of those soups that takes forever so you can’t really make it for one but I found this awesome idea on pinterest that I LOVE and have tried with no issues. You freeze the soup in cupcake pans or muffin pans so that you have single servings for later.
I made these awhile ago and they were good you can easily make them for one person. A lot of my chicken recipes can be made for 1 person…by just making 1 piece of chicken..is that too easy? I don’t know…it sounds a lot simpler when I write this down than it seems in reality.
My regular staple is baked chicken thighs or quarters. Just depends what is on sale each week. I switch between coating them with breadcrumbs, BBQ Sauce or just salt, pepper, garlic salt/powder, and then pouring melted butter on top and then baking the chicken for about 45 minutes to an hour on 350.
OMG SOOO GOOD!! I am drooling at all the food I am posting on this post.
OMG it’s soooo good!! But it’s not really a recipe for one….unless you are really hungry hahahaha but I’ve eaten them left over and they tasted pretty good. My family loves when I make this recipes it’s sooo good. YUMMY!!
This post has reminded me of all the recipes I’ve made and needed to blog about…so check back in November after 31 Days of Blogging is over and I will work on getting some of those posts up!!

Those fries look good, I don’t make fries at home because I’ve never thought of anything as interesting as that. If I’m just going to make the regular boring fries I’d rather buy them.

These are actually the only fries I really make at home. I really like Tatortots better than fries but it just depends what is on sale and such. We mix up our sides and starches a lot 🙂
