Yesterday I went to Publix and I saved 34% of my bill! It was like $25 and only $6 was in coupons but that’s $6 I didn’t have to pay which works for me. After all the reading I’ve done they say it’ll be slow at first. Because like yesterday I had to buy some things that weren’t on sale your “need” items.
I couldn’t buy my Ben & Jerry BOGO b/c the Publix by my house doesn’t take the Whole Foods Coupons I had so I’ll have to try another Publix up in Jacksonville (near whole foods) over the weekend. Even though 34% isn’t as good as 50%-80% it’s a good start (to me). Plus I can’t do too much right now b/c I don’t have any coupons from the Sunday paper, I only have internet coupons.
Last night I put together my coupon binder. I put all my internet coupons in a section, store coupons in a section, coupon policies in another. And I put everything in Sheet protectors like all the websites say. Then I made divider sections for each set of Sunday coupons. I have enough coupons to last me till Christmas π I also made a section for Black Friday ads/Research which is also a very important date π
So starting this weekend I’m going to start stocking up on Sunday Papers….now the crazies on TV go through the recycling bins…I think I’ll pass on that and for now just buy the papers like normal people.
This weekend I plan on heading to Publix (if they take whole foods coupons), Target, and Whole Foods…we’ll see what I find π We also plan on driving up the coast to see what beach areas are available.
Have a good weekend to all!
