2017 was a whirlwind of a year. And my blog definitely suffered due to the busyness of my life. I got married way back in April which seems like forever ago and not that long ago at the same time.
I cannot figure out which of my posts got the best stats and the ones that did probably were link-ups so I’m just going to share my top favourite posts from this year.

WEDDING DAY POST
In true Blogger Fashion, I wrote a blog post that got posted at 11:00 AM the exact time our wedding started and I was walking down the aisle. It was basically a reflection on our wedding and everything that had happened over the past few years.
I actually don’t think that many people saw it because I scheduled it and I don’t know that I scheduled it to post to social media and after the wedding, I was offline for a week. So I hope some of you will go and read it now. {Read More}

Thoughts From An Older Bride
I wrote this post in the midst of wedding planning as I felt I am much older than other Catholic brides on the internet (I’m 31 and my husband is 37) even though I’m not much older than most brides nowadays. Although in reality, it’s all about perspective. {Read More}

NFP EXPERIENCES FROM A NEWLYWED
As part of NFP Awareness Week, I wrote about my experiences of using NFP as a newlywed. I had only been using it for 3 months at that point so you know I was an expert. Just kidding. I still am not an expert and it has it’s ups and downs but we are working it through it. {Read More}

Hurricane Irma Update & Hurricane Irma Aftermath Posts
I am putting these together because they are both about Hurricane Irma. The first post I wrote about waiting for the Hurricane to get here which no joke took about 2 weeks but it felt like 2 months.
Then the second post I wrote while dealing with the aftermath. Thankfully we didn’t have any damage but it still took awhile for our lives to somewhat get back to “normal.”

Praying While Moving
I’ve really enjoyed participating in the Catholic Women’s Blog Hop monthly posts. Back in May it was about unique ways to pray and I wrote about my labyrinth experiences of praying. {Read More}

ADVENT TRADITIONS ANYONE CAN DO
This was another CWBN BLOG HOP post. This one was all about Advent. I wrote this because so many posts about advent are super involved complicated things that involve daily tasks. Some of my suggestions were daily but not all of them were because I know many people don’t have time to do daily things in December. So I came up with a few simple tasks to do a few times during Advent. {Read More}

WHY I BLOG
Another CWBN post about why we blog. I like these posts where I can reflect on why we do certain things. I’ve been blogging for over 7 years now! So crazy to think how my life has changed since starting this blog. {Read More}

The 9 Line Post
*That is the photo I had in this post I am not really sure why LOL it may have been the link-up photo*
I receive Mamas Losin It’s writing prompts in my email each week. Every now and then I will blog one of her writing prompts. This was one I wrote about missing my cat after moving out when I got married. {Read More}

SPOKEN BRIDE CONTRIBUTION
So this post isn’t on my blog but I did write most of the content in the post. If you are Catholic and you are getting married, know anyone getting married, or are a newlywed send them to this blog. It has great tips for engaged couples planning weddings and for newlyweds getting started.
They also feature many weddings and proposals that readers can submit. This is the post for our wedding that I submitted and they did a great job with it! This post is also why I haven’t written a wedding post on my blog. {Read More}
2017 was a great year for us and I cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store for us. I didn’t write that many posts but the ones I did write I had fun writing and felt it was good content. I hope to write more in 2018 and find even new blogs to read.
Best wishes, Beth Anne, to you and your husband! Today I read each and every one of these 10 of your favorite posts. I love the wedding photos. I’m very happy your house was not damaged in the hurricane. My sister lives in Key Biscayne, and she, too, was fortunate to suffer no damage, although she had to evacuate. I look forward to future posts from you.
Like you, I have not posted much this year. I hope to improve in 2018.
