I’m linking up with several bloggers in the “Blog in a Blink!” link up hosted by Monica at Equipping Catholic Families as we all share our top posts for the year 2013!
I found 8 posts while I went through my archives that got a lot of traffic. It was actually kind of sad how few posts I wrote this year that weren’t link-ups. Several of the posts I posted here were even link-ups but they have good content so I included them in this post.
After that analysis I decided that my #1 goal in 2014 is that I need to write MORE CONTENT!!!! However I am also finding that a lot of my content posts don’t get a lot of traffic..so it’s a win-lose battle I’m in right now.
Here is a photo collage of the photos from my posts (links are below):
In 2013 the Not Alone Single Series hosted by Jen and Morgan started. I didn’t link-up right away but the posts I wrote for the link-up are some of my best writing and I had a lot of fun writing for the series and have met several new single bloggers in the process.
Is it Possible for a woman to pursue a man? This was a VERY controversial topic of conversation.
NAS: Ice breaker I wrote several “get to know me” type posts that got quite a bit of traffic this year…I guess I’m pretty interesting and people want to know more about me 🙂
NFP for Single People I posted this for NAS and NFP Awareness Week link-ups. The comments on this one got pretty controversial but I still stand on my ground that NFP is important whether you are 9 or 99.
Lenten Meal Plan Monday Link-Up (oddly week 2 had the most traffic). This was my 2nd year doing it and I honestly LOVE IT! I LOVE food and I love Lent and I love seeing what kind of foods people are eating on Friday’s during Lent. This year I had a co-host and Dwija even linked up! I plan on doing this again in 2014 and if you want to co-host with me let me know!
Lent Photo Challenge – #40DaysofPhotos – my photo challenges last year were very popular.
My Missing Community – inRL Meetup reflection. Last year I found out about inCourage and they host an inRL (in real life) meet-up every year around the world. I found one near me and went alone (yeah story of my life I survive every time!). It was a great time! I hope to make next years meet-up as well.
30 Before 30 Challenge I turned 27 in March…and turn 28 next year oivay! So I came up with 30 things I want to accomplish by the time I turn 30 in 2 years. I’ve already completed 6 of them! And will complete several of them in 2014! I hope I can finish them all!
Fun Facts About Me for my Allume Roommates I went to my first BIG blogging conference in October. Here was a link-up we all wrote about ourselves for our roommates and conference attendees to read about.
Here are a few posts that I wrote that I thought were awesome but didn’t get much traffic.
Easy Binder Organization for Bills & Mail – One of my big accomplishments of 2013 was getting our finances ORGANIZED and this is the awesome system I came up with. Pin it here.
Surviving Events as a Singleton (another NAS Post)
101 Secrets for Your Twenties Book Review ~ The Book that CHANGED my LIFE. I had the honor of being on a launch team for this book and it was seriously the best book I’ve read in a LONG time. It helped me so much realize I’m not alone in the way I feel in this crazy world.
A Tribute to my Mother – On my Mom’s birthday I wrote a post for her…my mom doesn’t really read my blog (or any blog) so I doubt she has read this.
There’s Something About Mary….. Over the Summer I went to a Theology on Tap session about Mary…and like any good blogger I then wrote about it.
Eucharistic Congress Reflection – In March I attended our diocese wide event about the Eucharist. It was an AWESOME event with awesome speakers. I’m really sad to be missing it this year 🙁
{Simple Saturday} Photo Dump – This was a fun photo post I did over the summer. I hope to do more of these next year.
It’s been an interesting year. I hope everyone has a Happy New Year and has a wonderful start to 2014!
