What I Wore Sunday

This weeks pictures came out 10x better and I had WAY too much fun editing it in my #Muzy App! My sister was home when I was attempting to take the picture and saw I was having issues and was in a good mood so she took it for me.

Sunday Dress

Today I actually got up early and went to 11:00am mass at the church down the street since my Mom had to be at the 2nd showing of Restless Heart I wouldn’t have the car to get to mass later tonight.

Instagram’s filter made my shirt turn purple..but it’s black. The weird thing is I actually have this SAME SHIRT in PURPLE that I wear often to both church and work.
So this week I wore a black tunic shirt from Kohls  and black jeans from Old Navy. And yes those are the same pants from last week and yes I washed them!
I LOVE this top but often wear the purple over the black because I feel a tad morbid when I wear black pants with a black shirt even though everyone does it. I try to have a few more “happy” colors in my wardrobe. I also love this shirt because it’s cool and not form fitting which works well for my shape. It’s also on the long side which I feel works well for my height.

  3. To avoid the “morbid” look in black with black, try adding a long or big necklace in a fun color! I like how you pointed out that you washed the pants. I wouldn’t have… (washed them, that is).

  6. I love color, too! Trying to get more into tunics, since they’re so versatile, but I have a hard time finding good ones because I’m short…the length is never just right! So glad I found your blog through the What I Wore linkup, Beth Anne =)
