Welcome to the 24th day of WORDLESS ADVENT! I hope everyone is having a wonderful advent as a time of waiting and prayer.
In case you didn’t know each of the 4 candles represent something different.
The First Purple Candle: HOPE
The Second Purple Candle: PEACE
The PINK Candle: JOY
The Last Purple Candle: LOVE (the best gift of all)
Here is today’s WORDLESS ADVENT GIFT:
Since we are getting much closer to Christmas for the rest of “Wordless Advent” I am going to be posting more Christmassy themed sayings/pictures to help us prepare! Here is a cute ETSY sign I liked with a Jolly Christmas Tree π
Day 20: What color ornaments do you put on your tree?
We put ALL COLORS! We even have many handmade ornaments from when we were kids and in school π We probably have one of those trees the people on HGTV would HATE! We load the tree with all sorts of crazy ornaments that don’t really go together π
I can’t resist answering. Our “main tree” has gold, cranberry and yes, pink ornaments, along with multi-colored blown glass ones given to our children, as well as craberry ribbons and a cranberry bow on top. I switched to pink and cranberry a couple of years back when I inherited a beautiful pink hand made Christmas collection from dear hubby’s dear step grandmother; the set includes a tree skirt, a hand-painted plate of Santa in pink (an antique), and a pink tablecloth that is covered in pink tulle and to which we attach (with pins) handmade felt Christmas trees. I love it. We call it “pink Christmas” or “MP Christmas” after MP who made them. I love carrying on the traditions of the past and have passed that love onto my older two.
I love the image of your tree with everything on it. So colorful!
