Kregel Publications has sent me another book for review! All thoughts are my own. Since my mom works in children’s ministry I asked for her opinions on this book.
This was another children’s illustrated bible called the Candle Bedtime Bible. It was very similar to the 99 Stories from the Bible book I reviewed last month.
I like the layout of the book, the illustrations are attractive and eye catching. I like the way some of the pictures are given the depth view of 3D. I like the way the Table of Contents lists the stories and tells you if it is a 3, 4, or 10 minute story.
The stories themselves are well written and easy to understand as well as easy enough for a student to read and understand. It is a good beginning to a student to begin to understand what is included in the Bible and to understand.
The only criticism I would have is I think it should not have Bible in the title. This leads one to think of it as a bible but it is only stories from the bible not the entire bible.
