Welcome to the 4th day of WORDLESS ADVENT! I hope everyone has a wonderful advent as a time of waiting and prayer. I found this cute Digital Advent Wreath for each week in advent. What do you think?
Here is today’s WORDLESS ADVENT GIFT:
If you have young children or (older children/adults that want to have fun with paint) this is a cute christmas tree to make on a cold day when you feel like getting into the Christmas Spirit! For instructions on how to make it click here.
My wonderful blog designer that helped me transfer my blog from blogger to wordpress, Jacqui, is hosting the 26 Days of Christmas on her blog and has invited any other bloggers to join in! At the bottom of each Wordless Advent Post I will be answering each Christmas question of the day!
Today’s Question: Day 1: Favorite Christmas song and why?
This is a very HARD question! There are SOO many good Christmas songs these days. I have picked two a religious song and a non-religious christmas song.
Religious – Angels We Have Heard On High
I like this song because it has the Gloria in the middle that just goes on and on and it was always fun to sing (I also used to play it all the time on the piano). I remember one Christmas Eve when we went to mass they sang this song and my Uncle was sitting behind us and he attempted to sing it and my cousin and I just started cracking up! Yes we got in trouble but it was just one of those fun christmas moments we had 🙂 Here is a music video of this song by Reliant K:
Non-Religious: Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney.
This song has a good tune and it just makes me happy whenever I listen to it. I also like it because it has so many different aspects of christmas. Here is the music video for the song:
