I’ve been busy this week! I wrote and published 2 BLOG POSTS this week! I participated in the Simple Saturday link-up that the lovely Dwija hosted and I wrote a post about Mary. I went to Theology on Tap a few weeks ago and all summer the topics are “What do catholics believe about…” and a few weeks ago the topic was MARY. It was really good and I heard some really cool Mary stories which is always a bonus.
I’m moving right along with the things I can control/am in charge of for the wedding. I booked a room yesterday to have the Bridal Shower in. We are renting a house the week of the wedding for family to stay in and get ready in as we live in a tiny condo. After touring the house there really wasn’t any large enough room for the shower so I had to search for a Plan B. The clubhouse right next door to where we live has a hall and then smaller rooms you can reserve for whatever purposes you want. They had a small room that was plenty big enough for what I need and the price was right. My 2nd option was to rent a pavilion at one of the parks but then I’d have to worry about bad weather.
I also found an awesome website for Bachelorette Party T-shirts thanks to this awesome buzzfeed post. I’m going to replica this idea I found on Pinterest. My sister says I only want to make these because I want to have the largest number on my back ha but everyone I’ve shown them to LOVES the idea and people have asked me to order one for them as well.
I’m planning a “YAY you made it through the wedding celebratory trip!” I am going to iRetreat2014 (formerly Reviewers Retreat – blogging conference) in HERSHEY, PA! My mom is soo excited to go to Hershey Park. Plus we get an awesome rate on park tickets and hotel at the Hershey Lodge. My cousins from New Jersey (and maybe my Aunt and Uncle) are planning on meeting us there as well. It’s going to be a fun trip as much as I love disney I really miss Roller Coasters!
This week I’ve been hard at work at my staycation and trying to visit all the local tourist attractions that I haven’t been to yet. My favorite place that I visited was probably the Wax Museum. I saw some interesting “characters” made of wax. It was fun to take pictures of everything.
This weekend we are going to see Man of Steel and hit some more tourist attractions. We’re going to the aquarium, the lighthouse, and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! My sister wants to make a wax hand at Ripley’s we’ll see how that goes down. I was told not to go to any of the above locations as my sister said she wanted to go to them all! I’m hoping to write a guest post for a local blog about my adventure when I finish so I’ll make sure to link to it when it goes up.
In other news it is CHRISTMAS in July on The Hallmark Channel!! I love Christmas and Christmas movies so when I am not out and about staycationing I will be watching Christmas movies this weekend.

I actually know the people in that t-shirt post. I’m trying to remember which sister’s (or brother’s) wedding that was for though, three siblings got married in a 12 month period.
found you on Jen’s QT linky! Your blog is so pretty. 🙂 Happy Friday!
