1.Pierre is still missing 🙁
Something/someone walked by our apartment late Saturday night and freaked our cats out. The screen of the window came off and they jumped out. Milo is old and lazy and didn’t go anywhere but Pierre ran off. Every time we saw him he ran off. We haven’t seen him since 🙁 and I have a feeling he won’t be coming back since his front paws are declawed 🙁 He was only a year old. We named him after my grandma’s stuff dog 🙁 poor baby Pierre.
2. Milo is Sad 🙁
Since Sunday Milo has been sulking. I don’t think he is eating a lot either. He just sits at the window waiting for Pierre to come back 🙁 if Pierre doesn’t come back we are probably going to have to get another cat for Milo to antagonize. And to think 6 months ago they hated each other.
3. I’m currently car-less.
The bank came and took my car yesterday 🙁 since I haven’t been working the car loan hasn’t gotten paid and they didn’t want to work with us so they took the car. I have even less motivation to look for a job now..
4. I’m enjoying writing the Wordless Advent & The 26 Days of Christmas posts.
I hope you have been enjoying my Wordless Advent posts. They have been fun to write and find. Is there anything specific you are looking for? I might be able to post them in the next few weeks.
5. My Blog is GROWING!
This has been a good week blog wise. I’ve gotten 3 requests to be a Guest Blogger. Deacon Tom that runs Catholic Vitamins also contacted me to be on his podcast when they get to letter C for COUPONING! I’ll let you know when that happens 🙂
6. It’s a GIRL!
A few weeks ago I had my FIRST guest post on the New Roman Missal by Mandi @ The Catholic Newlywed. If you read her bio she was pregnant and due any day. Her actual due date was 11/27/11 (the FIRST day of Advent!), 8 days later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! Make sure to go to her blog and congratulate her 🙂
7. Twitter is AWESOME!!
I’ve been addicted to twitter for quite some time. But now that I have been messing with a lot of the cool features of Tweetdeck like Groups/Lists I’ve found it to be even more beneficial. The other day I found this AWESOME POST about spreading our Catholic Faith on Twitter on Ignitum Today (which is an awesome blog you should check out). My blogging friend Elizabeth wrote the post and created two twitter lists of Catholic Bloggers we should follow. I now have a ton of new Catholic Followers to learn more about. I also went to a job seeker event yesterday and was telling all these “older” people about the Job twitter chats I attend and they thought I was cool :). Make sure to follow me on twitter @TheCatholicCoup
So sorry about your cat! I would be a basketcase if something happened to Jack and he were missing. Hope he turns up soon! Prayers.
Katie@NFP and Me recently posted…7 Quick Takes #14
Thanks. It wouldn’t be soo bad if Milo wasn’t roaming around sulking all day and all night. All he does is sleep or look out the window waiting for Pierre to return. I really have NO idea where he ran off to 🙁 I hope he comes back I miss him.
Oh my goodness, poor Pierre!!!! Buttercup actually got out for the first time ever this past week. I came in and was upstairs for about 45 minutes. When I came back down, I realized I the door hadn’t latched and the wind had blown it open. Of course shew as nowhere to be found. I took her favorite treat bag outside (she meows at home if we crinkle it so I was hoping she’d do the same) and called her in the voice I use for her. After a few minutes we heard her crying and she was down this 6 foot cement wall backed up in a corner. It was SO pathetic but we were so glad she cried when we called. Hopefully Pierre will either make his way back (I’ve heard about cats who are missing for weeks and suddenly show up on the doorstep!) or someone who loves cats as much as you takes him in! Have you put up signs or anything? I know this is extreme, but I wonder if you can borrow one of those humane traps from a trap-neuter-release group and put food in the back to catch him?
yeah see Milo got out but he didn’t go anywhere lol ever since we got him Declawed in May he doesn’t really like to go outside and is very slow moving. But something spooked Pierre and he darted. The thing that makes me so angry is I had found him and caught him and as I was carrying him home he was fighting with me and jumped out of my hands and DARTED to idk where 🙁
I know I’ve heard of cats that just show up out of the blue. I’ve put up signs by our apt, on craigslist, everywhere I can think of. I just don’t know where he would have ended up we live near a bunch of wooded area. They have never gotten out since we moved here. When we lived in dallas they got out all the time and came back fine so it’s very strange. I agree I hope at least someone took him in and have a sweet cat of their own 🙂
I just feel bad bc Milo is sad and sulks all the time 🙁 the guy at the shelter said if he has found food somewhere he’s eating there and not looking to come back. There is another cat that keeps coming by though so idk what happenned to him 🙁
