Jen finally finished her book so the link-up is back at her blog! Yay! Welcome back to the Blogging World!
Happy LENT! How has your Lent been so far? Have you checked out my awesome Lenten Meal Plan Link-Up? Every Monday during Lent I will be posting some yummy recipes! So far there has been some great ideas and yummy recipes I must try! Also check out my Lenten Practices post and my Lent Video Series. Man I have been busy this week!
Speaking of being Blog Busy how do you like my DEAL DAY WEDNESDAYS? So far I feel like it’s been going well. I want to try to post more amazon and daily site deals on Wednesday’s as well. It’s definitely a learning process.
I really enjoyed reading all the #Ashtag and #CatholicProblems tweets on Ash Wednesday. It was nice to spread the good news of starting of Lent and drown in our sorrows of abstaining and fasting. Every LENT I always feel like I’m complaining and “alone” in being hungry or having headaches but it was nice to know that a lot of the people on twitter were going through the same things that I was. (If you missed out on it you can click those links to see what people have said)
Along with all the tweets about LENT I saw several tweets and blog posts about Ash Wednesday being “Catholic Single’s Awareness Day” I had NEVER heard this before. Has anyone else? Can someone enlighten me on this?
I just found out today that we are moving by March 31st instead of May 31st. So we have to find a place to live, pack, and move all within 35 days. Hopefully this blog doesn’t suffer too much. I think next week I am going to write a TON of posts like a mad women including all those Guest Posts I have to write. (Did I mention I HATE HATE HATE MOVING?)
About.com – Catholicism is having a contest from now until March 21, 2012. Go vote for your favorite Catholic Blog, Website, Magazine, and several other things. Conversiondiary.com is one of the favorite blogs this year so you should all go vote for her and I’m not just saying that because she is the host of this link-up.
I have been getting a TON of offers from companies to sponsor Giveaways & Reviews and I love it! This blog is slowly moving into the Review/Giveaway niche but it’s okay free stuff is all a part of Couponing! My mom gets so jealous because I get SO much mail! Next week the Disney Bag Giveaway will be starting so stay tuned for that!

#5: As scary as it sounds, it is completely doable. I speak from personal experience. 🙂 (We usually get about 4 weeks notice when we move between parishes if we’re lucky.) And I’m with you — I’d rather have major abdominal surgery daily than deal with packing and moving.

ugh yes I wish we were rich and I could just hire someone to move for me lol yeah I’m sure we have moved in the same amount of time it’s just daunting!
Nice to see a fellow Floridian! And I’m with you on the hating moving thing as well. We’ve done it every year since we’ve been married, and it’s getting old!!!!

I haven’t been on Twitter lately, but I would love to go back and look at what people were saying! It does make me feel better when I realize I am not alone in my “suffering” during Lent.
Good luck with all that comes with moving!
And that Disney bag looks awesome! Can’t wait for details on it!

If you click on the #Ashtag and #CatholicProblem links it should show you what some people are saying using those hashtags 🙂 Thanks! I’m going to work on the giveaway this weekend!

I don’t think it comes with anything in it. That is just the sample that the sponsor game me to use. I could be wrong though. The winner will get to choose what gets written on the bag 🙂
4- Catholic Singles Awareness Day means if they’re wearing ashes and don’t have a ring they’re fair game. 🙂
7- That’s awesome! What a cute bag!

I don’ think I have every met anyone who actually enjoyed moving. Your simply don’t realize how much “stuff” you have accumulated until it’s time to back it up. 35 day is NOT a lot of time either. I hope you have a game plan.
I haven’t given up anything for lent…..I’m a bad boy.
