October has been insane on the blog. It’s really hard I love all my link-ups but I also am doing this 31 Days of Blogging series (which I am LOVING). So I am literally posting almost 10 posts a week which is pretty insane but I’m kind of enjoying it but scared all my wonderful readers are going insane. I promise in November it’ll slow down…….
I had my first Confirmation Prep class this week and somehow I managed to get through teaching it by MYSELF…without dying….in the past I always had someone helping or team taught with someone. The best part is this class actually behaved and listened (even through the cheesy video I showed). Last years class had a lot of discipline issues and I was miserable most of the year :(. So I think this is going to be a good year 🙂
Saint Expeditus – Have you heard of him? Someone posted a link to him in a facebook group earlier in the week. Do you know what he is the patron saint of? PROCRASTINATION…I need to start praying to him like YESTERDAY. Obviously I am procrastinating praying to the saint for procrastination…
Patron of emergencies, expeditious solutions, against procrastination, merchants, navigators, programmers, and hackers revolutionaries
So the Allume conference I am attending is only 2 WEEKS AWAY!! I can’t believe how close it is! Back in March when I bought my ticket it seemed lightyears away. I am super excited for this conference as I’ve been dying to go to this conference for 2 years and I’m dying to just get away from everything for the weekend. This also means I need to do some pre-writing of my 31 Days and maybe Quick Takes to go up while I am at the conference.
I’ve been participating in the Five Minute Fridays link-up on and off the last few weeks. Well one really neat thing that is going on at the conference is there is going to be a Meetup for any of the Five Minute Friday bloggers hosted by Lisa Jo herself! I’m looking forward to that. All the bloggers in the #FMFParty twitter chat are awesome! Excited to meet some of them in “real life” plus it’ll be like a “live twitter chat.”
I lost my TV bet to myself. I thought Dads would be the first show to get cancelled. Lucky 7 soon followed by We Are Men were the first two shows cancelled this week after 2 episodes. They were both pretty bad. I thought Lucky 7 had potential from the previews but I think they had WAY too many story lines and they couldn’t decide if they wanted to be a comedy, drama, or mystery show.

#7: Strangely, I liked “We Are Men”.
jen recently posted…7 Quick Takes: Dinner Fail, Malala on The Daily Show, and Cute Animals
Yeah I kind of liked it but there were times it was just awkward…it was also weird to see “Monk” not act so eccentric lol
