My moms friend posted an article with this new chrome extension that I LOVE. It is a to-do list with the 5 most important things for you to do that day. The thing I love about it is that every time you open a new tab on the browser the to-do list shows up and puts me back on task when I’m trying to distract myself from life.
Do you like books? And do you like people watching? I found this website where you can see what books people are buying off the book depository and where they live. Very fascinating to see what kind of books people are buying in different parts of the world.
I’m not a big fan of Matt Walsh but this post he wrote this week was DEAD ON about dating as an adult. I have thought all the things…..does he like me? Why are we just “hanging out” all the time? This doesn’t make sense! I feel like dating is just awkward no matter how old you are….
My friend saw an ad yesterday that said the average household has 24 “Media Devices. Well first of all they didn’t define a media device so the ad is a little misleading. And it just seems like an insane amount of devices…but then I got to thinking and my mom and I alone have about 10 in our home so a family with 2-3 kids has to have close to 15. Several other people chimed in that they had about 10 as well. How things are changing…
In the year 2014 we are super connected online via facebook, twitter, instagram and blogs I still get weird looks when I tell people I am going to meet someone I met online. Whether it’s for a date or it’s a blog friend. For real people it’s 2014, 1 in 3 people meet their spouse online (according to the match.com commercials). Stop giving us weird looks.
That is the weird way to say I’m super excited for the NAS meet-up that is in 1 month!!!!
So as I have said every week I am SLOWLY posing recaps of my trip. This week I posted a page where you can find all my recaps. I was also able to post Day 3 (Athens), Day 4 (Athens to Santorini), Day 5 (that involved Volcanos and Donkeys), and Day 6 (when I pretended to be an Archeologist).
If you want to read more non-Greece related posts I also posted about sending wedding invitations to celebrities (aka disney characters), I updated you guys on my #Photo365 project for February-May with some TL;DR updates, and I have an awesome $100 Amazon Giftcard Giveaway Blast going on you should enter! (In a word…I’ve been pretty busy…)

24 media devices?! Holy smokes.
I don’t think we have that many. Or at least, I hope we don’t.

Yeah I’m curious as to how many people are in those households. Between my mom and I…I counted about 10.

Okay, I’m going to list our “media devices” for a household of 3 (2 adults, one toddler) and see if anyone else wants to tally up. 3 TV’s (we’re about to give one away, though), 1 VCR, 1 DVD player, 1 Roku, 1 Wii, 2 phones, 2 laptops, 1 Nintendo DS, 1 Kindle Fire. That’s 13. Maybe 14 if you count our Chromecast thing? We also have a digital converter for one of the TV’s since it’s a dinosaur.

I didn’t even count our DVD players! And I guess technically the TV and Cable box are two devices. It sounds like a lot but it all adds up fast. I didn’t even count our printers! I was just counting devices that connect to the wifi.

Hey! That is crazy to hear that media device stat! And I love how you mentioned the NAS trip! 🙂 I love telling people about it and seeing their expressions when I say I’m meeting up and STAYING in a house for a whole weekend with people I’ve never ‘met.’ Can’t wait! 🙂
I know! HAHA People are all you’re going where?!!? With Who?!!?I did go to the Allume blogging conference last year and stayed in a hotel room with people I had never met before and just met online. Eh it’s 2014 people have done crazier things.
