In last weeks Quick Takes I mentioned that I bought 2 new domain names. That was step 1. I have created a facebook page and installed wordpress to the domain on my host. I’m hoping this weekend to get started designing the site and content. I’ve gotten a lot of great feedback from people and a ton of people want to help write content!
Speaking of new websites my #CathSorority sisters Katie and Kayla have been working hard on getting a new NFP website up! Named after the awesome twitter hashtag #iUseNFP! I can’t wait till it launches in May to see what kind of information they provide for the new “hip” version of NFP. I’m hoping by the time I’m ready to get married and have to take a NFP class I can take their awesome new brochures/material and be like “Teacher your brochures suck use these awesome ones!”
This weekend is the Cathedral’s Spring Festival. It is on the mission grounds and are even having mass on Saturday evening. I’m very interested in seeing where all these ppl are going to be parking. I may be hitching a ride on the tourism trolley.
Milo found a new bed with a treat I brought back from last weekends confirmation retreat. The retreat went very well. I had to cut some stuff out of my talk since we were short on time but they understood the gist of what I had to say. One of the high school volunteers even came up to me after the retreat and said he loved my talk/activity! We are even talking about doing a middle school retreat next year. I LOVE Retreats!
My next series I am working on is “Awesome Couponing Articles you should read NOW” I’ve been finding some really great ideas! I may do it in a quick takes depending on how many articles I find.
Work this week work was CRAZY. We had 6 events this week! 3 dinners, 2 lunches and a birthday afternoon tea/party/desserty thing? I didn’t have to attend any of these events but had to help a lot last week and this week toe prepare for the events. Last week I put together about 150 folders to handout at the events. This week it was more about making sure they had everything and then manning the phones/front while everyone was at the events. At one point I was literally the only one in the office, that was kind of scary. Thankfully it was only about 30 minutes and I survived! On the plus side I have gotten free lunch out of the deal most of the week. Yesterday we had the left over shrimp cocktail for lunch YUMMY!!! I love shrimp!

I really wanted to get the website up by April 26th but yeah thats not going to happen considering that is literally 6 days away and I have to wait till next Friday to purchase the theme I want to buy. But I really have no time frame on when it’s all done since it’s a website and not a blog once all the content is up I just have to check in every now and then.
orange kitty love!

That wouldn’t be an MBOC by any chance, would it? When I was Coordinator, I actually untangled my Rector’s and knitted it into a baby blanket for his first child. So much fun, but so much work!

Shhh don’t tell my secrets!! We don’t call it that but it’s the same concept we use it with the gifts of the holy spirit and community talk 🙂
Do you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as I provide credit and sources back to your weblog? My blog is in the very same niche as yours and my visitors would truly benefit from a lot of the information you present here. Please let me know if this okay with you. Appreciate it!
