I saw this photo on pinterest and thought it had a great message. So many days I get caught in the “comparison trap” but I forget I don’t know the whole story of these people.

I’m working on a blog post about Stewardship and Tithing and I hope I don’t get too much hate-mail. I’m trying to write it in a way that makes sense and doesn’t offend too many people.
I’m the beginning stages of planning a European vacation/pilgrimage. I have NO IDEA what I am doing. Do you need to use a travel agent? do travel agents still exist? The biggest issue I know I’ll have is we want to go to multiple cities/countries. For some of the cities I’d probably want to take some kind of tour. This is sooo overwhelming!!!
I’ve already decided that since I’m not taking any classes in July…that July has been decked web-design/blog catch up month. This should be interesting. I seriously need to get these websites off the ground and I have TONS of guest posts I need to write!! And I need to just plot myself at the library or Starbucks b/c all I do is waste time at home.

So did anyone read The 10 Weirdest Coworkers post I linked to last week? I had left a comment and subscribed and the last comment I got via email the person wrote about a really frugal coworker that used to STEAL Bouquets from cemetery graves for his dates..now I’m frugal but that’s just wrong and weird….

This weekend we are going Wedding Dress Shopping and then we are going to a Food Truck Competition!! I can’t wait! Ever since I read an article about them for school last semester I’ve been really intrigued by all these food trucks. I also have watched The Great Foodtruck Race on The Food Network on and off the last few years. They are going to have over 20 trucks for us to try and we get to vote for our favorite! Will have to update you guys on how it went and I’m sure I’ll be tweeting and instagramming the event.
Have a great weekend! For more Quick Takes, visit Conversion Diary!
I find with any kind of trip booking it yourself is the way forward, you can shop around for the best deals and get yourself some great bargains.
You can go inter-railing in Europe, which means getting a train ticket that covers a large section of the continent so you can travel around. It works out cheap because you can go overnight and sleep on the train, reducing ticket prices and saving you a night in a hotel/hostel. I really recommend it if you’re trying to keep costs down!
That food truck thing sounds so amazing! Take pictures.
And, looking forward to your tithing post 🙂
Food Truck competition? Ohhhhhh fun! We went to a food truck rally last weekend and loved the snackage but not the lines.
I don’t think it can hurt to use a travel agent. There is no charge, so why not? If you have AAA, they are great to work with. For our honeymoon, we had a travel agent out of California who was great to work with… I just had to remember to call by 2pm since it was 5pm/quittin’ time there!
#1 I tell myself that ALL THE TIME. My quote is “don’t compare the inside of your life to the outside of someone else’s” but same concept. 🙂
