If you have been following me on instagram (look up!) you will have noticed it is VBS week this week. I didn’t help Tuesday or Today since I work (and today got out of cleanup) but I helped run the games the other 3 days. It’s been a lot of fun making the kids play ridiculous “olympic games” in Athens. Yesterday we had them try and jump from 2 jump ropes 20 feet apart. It was hilarious trying to see these older kids try and do it. We then made a cross out of another rope that helped them walk across just how Jesus helps us 🙂 Yes I know corny but it was cute and the kids got it! YAY!

This is the dress I REALLY want her to pick. It even has POCKETS!! And it’s modest/my style.

Well the Food truck competition last weekend was a bust…all the lines were like 3 hours long! Uh no food is worth that kind of time!! But the ads said there were going to be 20+ trucks there and there was only maybe 10 trucks…oh well…I’ll catch them eventually…

Summer school is officially over….I finished the final project that supposedly should have taken 2 weeks to do in 3 days and still managed to get an A. Now I have a little more than a month off to rest/relax and get some things done around the house and it’s back to the drawing board. I can say I’ve really enjoyed all the classes I’ve taken so far!
Have a great weekend! For more Quick Takes, visit Conversion Diary!
Ohhh!! Pockets!! I hope she picks that one, too!
Such a lovely and practical dress!
That dress is adorable! Anything with pockets that is still fancy enough to wear to a wedding gets my vote. 🙂
I think that dress is the exact one I wore recently at my brother’s wedding. Yay for having a sister-in-law with good taste!
LOVE pockets! have you thought about a cotton weight v dress weight fabric? I did cotton dresses at my wedding and my brother’s wife has found a lot of wear out of hers
