My first giveaway last week was awesome! Welcome to all my new followers and congrats to the lucky winner!
Are you bad about losing things? This might be strange but we lose steak knives! I have NO IDEA how someone loses knives..it’s kind of scary if you ask me. But we have gone from about 10 steak knives to two..I’m scared that we are going to clean something out and find them somewhere unpleasant. Anyway we bought more knives over the weekend so hopefully we won’t lose them.
Here are 99 Hacks that you wish you would have thought of first! A few of them I actually have done. I will have to try a few more : )
A few months ago I read about how this famous person’s dog had a twitter account. At first I thought this was weird/crazy but then I thought well that is kind of funny so I made Milo & Pierre a twitter account but then I lost the password but a few weeks ago I have revived it. Follow them so you can read their funny tweets and the mischeif they have cause.
YAY!! My mommies are home as I knocked all the towels into the litterbox whahaha

P.S. there are a TON of cats on twitter. They have about 10 followers who are cats. I guess there are other #CrazyCatLady’s that love their cats enough to let them tweet.
Remember last week one of my takes was about a Giraffe that was in Labor? Well Autumn the Giraffe STILL hasn’t had her baby. We keep watching her everyday and nothing has happenned π I think it is a conspiracy and they are just trying to earn money from the ads from all the page views. We are placing bets if Autumn will have the baby or my pregnant friend who isn’t due until Thanksgiving.
Wednesday night they offerred a class about Faithful Citizenship at the parish. It was very informative in terms of the upcoming elections. They showed a video that was very well done and gave me a lot to think about. It’s on the USCCB website and I can’t figure out how to embed it so you’ll have to click on the link.
We’re only 1 week into the #YearOfFaithΒ and I’m already like 5 days behind on my daily readings of the Catechism. I’ve read parts of the catechism before for reference points but I don’t remember it being so hard. The few I’ve read I’ve had to read about 10 times because I had NO IDEA what I was reading! I’m not going to give up yet but it’s def. a struggle. I have looked into the U.S. Catechism and the YouCat that are a little bit easier which I may switch to if this one gets too hard but I like getting it in my daily email.
On the plus side some of the parts that I have read it’s like a light-bulb going off…oh “that’s why we do that?” Some of the stuff makes so much more sense now!

Gah! I picked your blog at random from 7QTF and was delighted that you were on vol 6, the same as me! Haha! In regards to #4: My cats have a facebook but not a twitter (their vanity is already waaaay out of control). And #7: We all feel overwhelmed by all these giant books. Just remember to take it one page at a time and really absorb it. It’s not about getting through the book, it’s about the book getting through to you π Don’t get discouraged.
That is sooo weird!! I actually have been doing 7QT for over a year but on a different blog and just started over when I moved them to this blog π haha cats are so funny π
We’ve always been dog people until a certain cat adopted us….he’s spoiled rotten. I won’t tell him about Twitter, he’s already all up in my business when I get on the ‘puter! Blessings and hang in their with the Catechism. We’ve been reading it, too and I’ve had to re-read a few things, but it has been quite eye opening and I love the “bite size” bits it’s in…
Steak knives are such a random thing to lose! That makes me laugh! Have a good weekend! π
The last few nights of the Catechism have been MUCH easier to get through, so once you get caught up you should be good to go! Apparently it was just the intro that was difficult to wade through.
LOL @ Pierre and Milo tweeting! Those are some high tech cats ;).
I’m going to be in the car all day for work, then all evening driving to SC, so that pretty much means Autumn will birth today. Keep an eye on her!
I just realized this morning that I missed the reading from yesterday. It’s so frustrating to be behind, whether it’s one day or 8! Good for you for sticking it out though, I think it will be really beneficial for all of us in the end. I’m trying to figure out a way to get the readings posted somewhere in my house for all to see…. Maybe I’ll start printing them out and hanging them on the bathroom mirror?
I have several friends who have given their cats FB pages. No twitter yet, but I think it’s only a matter of time π
Awwwwwww! Look at your sweet orange kitty. We have two orange tabbies and a dog named Milo… AND a bunch of other pets. Milo used to have his own MySpace but a Twitter account hadn’t even occurred to me.
I’m behind on the readings from the Catechism too…..I really need to catch up this weekend!
