I have my FIRST giveaway going on my blog right now. It’s a $100 giftcard to OLD NAVY!! Make sure you enter because I think it’s a great prize! My friend is having a  giveaway. It is a book called, Tips for Sharing the Bible with Young Children. Make sure you enter it has low entries!!
Last week I wrote two reviews. One about a Grace Dice and one about Steve Angrisano. Make sure you check them out.
Last week I wrote about the new post-it note to-do list I made. So far it’s working out GREAT and my co-workers have said it’s cute. I could use some more colored post-its but for now it’s working. The spreadsheet project is working out okay the first few days I did better than the second two but I’m hanging in there. The only con is I feel like I waste a TON of time writing everything down or the phone will ring 3 times in a row and it gets a little crazy.
A few weeks ago I mentioned an #AdventPhotoADay contest I plan on hosting for Advent over blogs/twitter/instagram and I got a lot of words but my mom had a catalog she needed to make an order from and I saw this Adverbs of Advent book and chain. I think it’s going to come in handy for some of the blanks and it looks cute đ
Yesterday Stacy posted about a Giraffe that has been in Labor all week and they think she should deliver any day/hour/minute now. Last night several of us in #CathSorority were obsessed in watching the webcam waiting but alas nothing happened except some pacing and chewing. Although by the time you read this maybe something has actually happenned. If you click here you can watch the webcam.
This month they have been having Theology on Tap downtown and so far the first week one other person came and this past week I was the only one that came đ On the plus side the leader paid for everyone’s food and the priest had some VERY interesting stories to share. I’m hoping that in two weeks more people come since one of my favorite priests is speaking. It’s really strange when I attended it in Dallas we always got over 100 people. Last year we got about 20 people. I’m not sure if parishes are advertising it and we can’t force them. The Young Adult Group at this other church I have been going to has been going really strong though.
Yesterday was 10.11.12 and I remember in 2008 I wanted to get married on 6.7.08 but alas it didn’t happen so I have until 12.13.14 to have a cool wedding date and an Advent wedding…maybe.
But  numbers aside yesterday was also the start of the #YearOfFaith. From what I have read so far there are a lot of things going on online and in my diocese. One thing I’m really looking forward to is reading the whole Catechism in the year. This is something I’ve always wanted to do but is sooo daunting to do on your own. Hopefully I can keep up with the daily readings. What are you doing for the #YearOfFaith?

I’m converting to Catholicism đ
But really. Haha. I like your Advent idea!
So far, I’m doing the Catechism in a year thing through flocknote too. My prayer life has really improved recently, and while that’s not technically FOR the Year of Faith, I’m gonna say it counts.
My husband and I have been wanting to go to the Theology on Tap in Nashville, but haven’t been able to work it out to go yet… I’m not sure of the turnout that they have, but I would love to meet more young adult Catholics in the south! For the Year of Faith, I’m reading the Catechism emails, trying to keep up with daily readings and plan to read more books for spiritual growth! I love how so many of us Catholics are all committing to this together – very encouraging and exciting!
I tried to enter the giveaway and twice it tells me it can’t verify that I’m human :(.
YAY AUTUMN THE GIRAFFE! I wish she would have that baby :).
