Several months ago I found an awesome website for Catholic Gifts, Catholic Family Gifts. I immediately contacted them about reviewing a gift
Today I am reviewing a Table Grace Dice from Catholic Family Gifts. This has been a great product for all ages. Over the summer while I was testing this out at home we thought it was neat and different to use. Then in July we went on a family reunion vacation to disney world and as a joke I packed the dice. We used it several nights and my family LOVED IT!!
The best part was one night we said the following prayer:
Everyone thought it was a nice prayer, we ate dinner, and went to Magic Kingdom for the evening to see the 4th of July fireworks. We no sooner got to Magic Kingdom and it started RAINING CATS AND DOGS!! It didn’t last too long and we went on with our evening after a few delays.
The next night at dinner we went and got the dice and I was “banned” from saying the prayer and we weren’t allowed to say “that prayer” ever again since it had “rain” in the prayer. Like they say you get what you pray for.
Other than that comical mishap we LOVE the Grace Dice! It makes saying prayers at meal time fun and something to look forward to when meal times comes. It also makes a good icebreaker when you have guests over.
The only thing I haven’t liked about the dice it is slightly big/heavy and sometimes makes a REALLY loud noise on the table when it lands after the roll. Because of this sometimes we will roll it on the more sturdy countertop or even the floor and then pick up the dice and pray the prayer. It could be that we just don’t have a sturdy table. When we used it on vacation the table was a glass table so we worried about breaking something that wasn’t ours.
While I was on Catholic Gifts website they also have a Prayer Dice. This could be an excellent addition if you have children who are learning prayers. I highly recomend either dice to help your family pray more together and to learn new prayers.
*I received a free grace dice from Catholic Family Gifts for this review but all thoughts and opinions are my own.*
What a fun idea! Pinning it 🙂

I love this Prayer Dice. I have one (in Spanish) for my Spanish class and it’s great! I wish I had one for my family though, especially one Lucia gets older!
