Doing the 7 Posts in 7 Days challenge has taught me a lot about myself. When I first started blogging I started as a coupon blogger…sort of..it was more me recounting my journey as I learned how to use coupons. Then I started blogging about being catholic and eventually started posting deals. I soon realized most “deal bloggers” sometimes posted 10x a day and that definitely WASN’T for me! After about a year I shut down that blog and started this one. This one I can get away with posting 1-2 times a week and it being okay and it not being a big deal. For a good 6 months last year I posted nothing but Quick Takes. It was actually this challenge last summer that got me back to blogging more regularly.
In this week of CRAZINESS and everyone writing their 7 posts Jenna posted this awesome post of how to find content ideas. I’m def. going to try some of these going forward.
This weekend is our parish festival with fair food and rides, oh my! We’re in charge of the Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Snow Cones and maybe Funnel Cake Booths. It’s always a fun weekend and I LOVE fair food.
Can you believe it LENT starts next week!! Wednesday to be exact! My birthday is Thursday smack dab in the middle of two meatless days of Wednesday and Friday. So I have decided to celebrate we’re going to go out for STEAK!!!!!!!!! Everyone seems to be in agreement of this decision. When I posted this decision on facebook a friend shared this photo on the status update…I concur.
Speaking of LENT. Starting on Monday my Lenten Meal Plan Link-Up will start! I’ll be using the same linky all of lent so every week we can add new recipes to it and try new recipes. It’s always a big hit and this year I have found a TON of new recipes. There are several pizza recipes I really want to try. I finally created a button for anyone to use:
For those that haven’t caught up with my posts this week I’ve written about my purse, my name, and introverts. This is supposed to be the 7 posts in 7 days but it’s probably going to be about 9 posts in 9 days. One thing I’ve gotten from this challenge is a lot of ideas for new posts!
I want to have a shout-out to my friend Jen that mentioned my binder organization post in her quick takes. It’s really been a life saver for us in terms of bills and papers that come through our home. It has been SUPER popular on pinterest and is my most popular post.
Have a great weekend everyone!!

#1: Posting 10x a day isn’t me either. 🙂 There used to be days when I blogged multiple times a day but not so much anymore.
#5: I’ll try to remember to take part this year. Jon is vegetarian and I was for 5 years.
#7: 🙂 Thanks for the shout-out. I was reading your post on introverts and knew I had to share it when I saw the picture on your sidebar.
Thanks for the shout out, lady!
